So I haven’t posted for a really long time, but I wanted to tell you about Thanksgiving. We had all our kids and grandkids here for Thanksgiving and it was great! We started with breakfast at Amy and Chace’s new house. It was great fun! Then back to our house to get some of the food ready for the big feast. We had dinner at The Hunt home and it was YUM! I believe it was Chace that wanted to do the day over just so he could eat that yummy food again. After dinner we came back and watched a movie here at home. The next day the boys helped Chace purchase his big TV etc. and the girls went Christmas shopping. After we all went bowling and out to dinner! It was a very successful day! We came back and opened our Christmas Jammies. What a great way to start the season. We had a quick goodbye to the Kozaks the next morning and they headed off to Colorado while the rest partied on. Thanks to my Children for making this a very memorable Thanksgiving. Also a big thanks to my sisters for the yummy dinner and tons of shopping fun!

Ramblings of a stressed out woman.
So I just have to say this has been a crazy week and it is only wed.
Yesterday on my way to a meeting with my crazy horrible manager I stopped to get a sandwich from Subway. I had 1 hour and I was about 30 min from the office. I pull into the parking lot and get out of my car and kind of chuckle at the guy in the truck next to me because he looks sound asleep. I walk past his truck and realize it is running and I think..something is not quite right here. So I go back and his window. It is down so I ask if he is ok….no response. I poke him in the shoulder and ask louder, “Are you ok?” Nothing so I shake him hard just like the cpr video’s right and yell, “HEY ARE YOU OK?” He doesn’t stir. I then notice a syringe that looks like an insulin syringe and I think crap diabetic coma. I call 911 and move my car when they come and they are getting my info when another cop pulls a spoon with residue in it out of the truck. I was so bummed. Here I was thinking I was saving this kid (about 24 yrs old) (that is still a kid to me) from diabetic coma but no…just a heroine addict. After getting my sandwich and going back to my car and now having to drive and eat at the same time, I was thinking about it and realized this kid had his truck running and was shooting up heroine so I guess it was still a good thing because he was obviously planning on driving after he shot up.
And just as a side note I think my meeting with my crazy manager went well. Thanks for the prayers and Curt’s wonderful blessing.
Okay so then today I stopped at the grocery store to get some stuff and get back to my car and my keys are missing. I search the store and my purse cannot find them anywhere. Walk home with my groceries…exercise right? Get my other keys walk back and get my car then get a call that they found my keys. Yahoo. It has been the weirdest week. I wonder what is next?

New Granddaughter
I just found out that Kristy and Chris are expecting a little girl in aug. I am so excited for them. It has brought back a multitude of memories. I loved having two little girls together. Getting them ready for the day was a blast. Making bows to match all their outfits and coming up with new hairstyles that would keep their hair out of their faces was always a challenge. But how I loved watching them play with each other. Of course later in life I have heard stories that well…I didn’t know happened and still wish I didn’t if you know what I mean.
So today I send a prayer for my grand babies. I pray for each of you that you will always feel love. Love from your parents, Your grandparents and all those around you. But most of all I pray you will always feel the love of your Heavenly Father. I love you all tenderly. I pray you will visit often and allow me to read to you and spoil you with love.

Home again Home again
Having fun a great time at the farm! Amy and Cayden trying out the Tractor.
Cayden loves his Daddy! At the Cherry blossoms.
AHHH!
Okay, This is cute isn’t it!
Breann, with her friends, Proctor, Breann, JJ, Kenzie on tour.
Two funny girls!

So I am home from a crazy and wonderful time. I went with Breann on choir tour to Boston. I loved it. The history and the music was great! I loved being with Breann and her friends. I especially loved the music workshop. Wed to Sunday was with them and then my next flight took me to Amy and Chaces and my darling little grandson Cayden’s house. I loved holding, feeding changing, bathing, playing and changing him again! We had a great time and saw some great sites.

So here are some things I learned while away.
1. My husband really needs me!
2. I didn’t prepare him well enough for the “arrows” that come at you on a daily basis while home without the wife to intercept them.
3. I don’t mind spit up when it comes from my grand kids
4. I am not too old to sleep for a week on a couch and survive.
5. Breann is a nutcase and I love her!
6. I am not a teenager anymore and I need my 7 to 8 hours of sleep
7. I need to have grandkids living closer!
8. I love learning about other religions
9. Amy and I could spend hours in a fabric store
10. I missed my husband a lot!

Cruise Feb 2011
Curt and I went on a great Southern Caribbean C
ruise in Feb of 2011. We loved it! We had a great time with our friends and my sister Lynnette and her husband Elwin. Curt decided to start the vacation early with a couples massage before we left! Awesome! Then it was off to the airport. After traveling all Friday night we finally boarded the boat on Saturday around 2pm. That night we just familiarized ourselves with the boat and the next day we arrived in St Crouix and we took a van to church. We love going to church in remote places. Our driver went to church with us. It was great! Then he took us to a fair. Tons of booths with hand crafted items. We really got a flavor of the local people! They were great. Then back to the boat where we changed and went to get some sun on the beach right by the cruise ship. The next day was St. Kitts. Here we found a man with monkeys and since it was Kelly Casadays dream to hold a monkey…we paid the guy and held the monkeys. They were amazingly soft! It was cool. Then off for a wonderful dive. Saw the largest lobsters I have ever seen. It was great. After the dive we did a little souvenirs shopping. Every night there was amazing food and great entertainment. Then our little group would go off for a game of cards. The next day Tues, was Dominica…pronounced Domineeka. This was the most extreme excursion I have ever done. We repelled down waterfalls and jumped into pools of water and hiked through the river. The scenery was spectacular! We have a video of this if you are interested. We did this with Hunts an Casadays. It was amazing. On Wed we were in grenada but due to bad weather we were unable to tender in and missed our dive. So we went to see the spices. We talked to some of the local ladies there and really enjoyed listening to them and learning about the culture. It was kind of rainy so not much in the way of improving my tan. The next day was A beach day on Tabago. We headed out to beach and spent the day playing in the water and enjoying the sunshine. The next day was a boat day and I over did it a bit in the sun…I got a little red but it felt amazing. I have decided that I have the best family and friends in the world! It was an amazing adventure and I loved sharing it with Annette and Kelly Ward, Kris and Ron Fisher, Ann and Kelly Casaday, and Lynnette and Elwin Hunt!
