So I thought I would tell a story that all new moms have experienced in one form or another. Amy was changing Cayden when like all little baby boys he began to pee all over. Curt went running for a paper towel however, he was just a little slow as Cayden promptly decided now was a good time to poop with power. So he did. It shot all over Amy's cute pink bathrobe. She looked down and said, "Are you serious? Hurry dad hurry" He came running and all I could do was sit and laugh! I love baby boys! Curt took him after he was all cleaned up...which by the way required a bath. While he was holding him he Curt gets this funny look on his face and says..."I think he just peed" We asked how he knew and he said a warm feeling just came over him. Upon inspection we find that Cayden had found a way to pee on his grandpa with his diaper on. Go Cayden. All this happened in 1/2 hours time. He is a funny little boy.
Cayden has also discovered a binky with a passion. Curt would pull it out of his mouth off and on. Now when Curt is holding him...or any other time he feels he might loose it he holds his binky in with his hand. Remember he is only 1 week old.
I have been home about 2 hours and I can't stop smiling when I think about this wonderful little boy. Such a great week! Thanks again Amy and Chace for inviting us in during such a special time.
This is a blog about a family that started with two people who love each other!

Time with Amy
Amy came in town this past couple of weeks. It was so great to go shopping and out to lunch and attend 3 baby showers and sew with her. Watching and feeling her little angel move inside her is amazing. I am so excited to share this time with her! She is so excited to become a mom! I have no doubt that she and Chace will be awesome parents. It brought back so many memories of my own pregnancies. (Especially the time when you got light headed and you needed food right then.) Honestly I loved every stage of parenthood but this grandma thing is beginning to grow on me. I am learning many new skills such as crocheting the edges around receiving blankets and my latest is an attempt at making the blessing outfit. Chace joined us later and we were able to take him to the lake. He decided to make up for a whole summer of not skiing in one day. I think he is very sore:) Thank you Amy and Chace for including me in your experiences of pregnancy and Parenthood! I love you.

Summer fun
So I thought I would write about some of the latest great times our family has had. My nephew Steve got married this summer to a great girl named Meri and we were able to attend in Denver and share in that wonderful time! I loved spending fun time with my family. It is such a great blessing to have a big extended family that loves being together and is such a great support.
The next weekend we drove to California and spent a week on the beach with the Willardson side. I loved playing with my neices and nephews and great neices and nephews. I got to hold lots of babies and I am getting ready for Amy to have hers. Alyssa was able to get her patriachal blessing from grandpa the last part of the vacation in San Diego. It was a beautiful blessing. Then we were able to celebrate with Ann and Dan and their wedding.
Now things are getting back to normal if you can call work and sewing all kinds of suprises for Amy normal. She comes for a visit on the 24th of Aug and I can hardly wait!
I am feeling blessed.

This weekend I flew to Virginia for a little Amy and Chace time. It was great. Amy is just starting to show...at 16 weeks and needed some maternity clothes. So it was time to shop! We had great success the first day and found a ton of cute clothes. She is really glad to be comfortable:) We had a great birthday dinner at a really wonderful restaurant that they chose. We were able to eat outside and enjoy the great weather. Chace is studying for his CPA so Saturday we were off again to get mani and pedi's and more shopping. Amy was able to find some really cute home decor for her apartment. Thanks Chace for being such a good sport. She chose some really great things and it was so fun. We met up with Katie and Bryce and Tyson that night for a great time. It was so fun to see their apartment and them again. I am so glad they are so close. Fun times. I had to come home this morning which was sad but I really needed some Jones time. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. It is so nice to feel needed and appreciated. I love you guys!
